Christopher continues to make slow progress, during his daily PT sessions he is
able to sit up unassisted and assisted for thirty minutes so far. He has been
squeezing Debbie's hand and moving his limbs on command which is very
exciting. He has also been breathing on his own as they turn down his
ventilator. He is doing all of this while still being heavily sedated due to the
effects of the meds he has been on over the past few weeks. He will continue to
feel the effects of these meds for sometime, possible another week or so. We
hope to be transferred to the Shepherd Center by next Wednesday, we are still
waiting on an open bed.
Thank you all for the continued support and constant
prayers, we feel the love.
So glad to hear he is making continued progress, he is the same young man that hit the game winning hit in the bottom of the last inning with 2 outs and a full count 6 years ago to keep our team undefeated..he knows about performing when the chips are down, he is a strong young man.
