Monday Oct. 8th

A little better day today, Christopher made it through the day without getting sick, a big accomplishment right now. Today was a first in PT, they got him on the treadmill, this is not the ordinary unit like you might have in the basement. It is so cool, it has two small seats on each side for the techs to sit, they're there to make sure the feet and legs stay in alignment. Christopher was a star, he did so well, he didn't need any help, he was able to keep up a steady pace, with his legs moving without assistance. The Panosian's and Corcoran's were there to cheer him on.

Debbie and I are taking Davis and a couple of his friends to Asahi's for his birthday, 15 years old, wow.

  1. I just wanted to let you know that so many here in East Cobb are continuing to keep Christopher and your family in prayer. My son was in Christopher's class at Lassiter, although I'm not sure they knew each other. But the fact that this could have been my son as easily as yours has kept this at the front of our minds. It has had a profound effect on my son and on me. Not a week goes by that someone doesn't ask about Christopher's progress and all are praying. Thank you for keeping us updated and letting us know specific ways in which to pray.

  2. My son,Jacob Brabant, knows Christopher from Lassiter. While you don't know us, we have been following Christopher's progress since the accident. Please keep your faith strong and know that the community is still behind you all the way. You have as many strangers as you have friends praying for all of you on a regular basis. Thank you for the updates. Regards, Tracey Brabant

  3. Hi to the Heitzman family and to all of their friends (and to strangers like myself that have come together to love and to uplift the Heitzman family in prayer and thoughts!) I am having the Prayer Group this upcoming Saturday, Oct 13 at 11am. I have missed the last two weeks - what a crazy season! - but I look forward to getting together with anyone that is interested. A light brunch will be served, too. Please email to let me know if you are coming and to get my address. bhasty1176@yahoo.com
Chris continues to improve and amaze us all, but I believe in a God that restores completely. Although I am uplifted at each improvement, I will continue praying until I see his healing accomplished. I love how the community has fell in love with the Heitzman family and take their pain and hurt upon themselves, binding together in love and prayers daily to uplift and carry them through this tough time. God shows love through his people!
