Just got the call, now two hours later, they have moved him into the
recovery room. They will come get us shortly.
Dr Frankle came and gave us an update, the surgery went well, the catheter
was placed near T5 on the spine, not as high as he had planned but should be
able to deliver the results they are looking for.
Christopher looks very good, he is resting well. We are waiting for the
team from Shepherd to transfer him back to his room.
All is well.
Praying for Chris tonight.

Our prayers are constantly with you. I have a colleague, Larry Smith, who was in a motorcycle accident with his wife who sustained injuries similar to Christopher's. I shared Christopher with him and he wrote: I hope Christopher continues to progress. Logistically I not sure when we could do it, but Vickie and I would be glad to visit and offer support to the family. Or, if anyone wants to call me, feel free. My cell # is 813-785-5356.
ReplyDeleteWe know its slow. We’re coming up on 1 year (Nov 12). Its slow, but everyday Vickie does something different.
Thinking of you all as Christopher recovers from surgery. Looking forward to relief for his muscles and thank you so much for keeping us all updated. We are with you on this journey and now in California we also are rooting for Lassiter!
ReplyDeleteA big hug to Debbie.
