Over the past few days Christopher has steadily become very efficient at feeding himself. He has been trying to get his cup and some food to his mouth for several days now but finally achieved the task Friday night.
One of our neighbors Amy brought Chick-fil-a nuggets with all the trimmings for dinner, including the chocolate chip cookies. Amy and her husband Scott have a Chick-Fil-A store here in Marietta on the corner of Sandy Plains and Piedmont Rd. , across the street from Sprayberry High School .
Debbie broke one of the cookies up into several pieces and Christopher eventually got a piece into his mouth. Well this started a feeding frenzy, Christopher was soon stuffing chicken nuggets into his mouth as fast as he could.
The following video segment shows him eating some tangerine pieces Saturday night.
AWESOME! It is so wonderful to see the progress continue.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing! I remember the first time I came to see him he was chewing some ice. He would chew for a moment then take a break, then he would chew again. He is having no issues at all now! What a beautiful boy - I know you are so proud! I love the pictures you post of him. They are so encouraging and make me so happy for him and all that love him! You guys remain in my prayers and thoughts.

Just swa Christopher on the news. We are so glad that is has been progressing so well. He is a true inspiration. We were there when all of you came in to Grady with my brother in law. We left not knowing how he was doing. So glad to see that he pulled through.
