This afternoon we are going to see Dr. John Seiler with Georgia Hand. We are asking him to assess Christopher's left arm and wrist to see if there is anything they can do to help make it more useful and less painful. As you may remember, when we were in the Shepherd Center, Christopher had all four limbs splinted or in a cast at some time. His left wrist is the only one that continues to be an issue. We are hoping Dr. Seiler can offer us some ideas short of cutting and lengthening tendons, we want that to be a last resort decision.
Wednesday he is scheduled to see our primary care physician. He last saw her in November, we need medical clearance for him to have his dental care completed.
We are still trying to get him in to see Dr. Carney the urologist from Grady Hospital, hopefully in the next couple of weeks this will happen.
The Lord keeps me strong. I will persevere. I won't give in. Please keep me lifted up in your prayers as I continue my fight to recovery.
