Tuesday May 14th -Sunday May19th

Over the past week Christopher has had several follow up visits with the doctors and C H Martin orthotics. Dr. Seiler was very pleased to see the results with Christopher's left arm. The elbow is progressing very well. He does feel the wrist, thumb and fingers could do with another dose of Botox. He and Dr. Beninga from the Shepherd Center have spoken and the intentions are to inject the wrist and his right ankle at the same time during his visit in July. He is scheduled for July 17th. We will return to see Dr. Seiler shortly after that for a reassessment.

Wednesday afternoon we returned to see Chip at C H Martin, Chip fitted Christopher for a walking splint for his right ankle. Hopefully this will give him some additional stability in the walking frame. He is still very timid about putting weight on that foot.

We are nearing the end of the school year and have been receiving graduation announcements for several of Christopher's friends. We are planning to attend as many of the parties as possible.

Saturday we took Christopher shopping. His birthday was this Sunday, the 19th. He was a very spoiled boy having breakfast in bed. We spent most of the day watching it rain, luckly it stopped long enough for us to attend Alex Jardine's graduation party.

Christopher and Alex played ball together in Smyrna for many years prior to us moving to Marietta. They are still good friends, it was great seeing everyone.

Once we returned home Coleman was there to join in on the birthday celebration. Christopher is now 19 years old. He was one happy boy, cake and ice cream for everybody.

Photo: Happy Birthday to my lil bro Christopher! God has blessed you with 19 years, and I know everything he has left planned for you is so much greater than any of us could even imagine!
