Wednesday October 16th

Well everything over the past couple of weeks has been leading up to today's surgery.

We've had a great trip to Hilton Head. Debbie and I took Christopher, Davis and a few of his friends to the beach for Davis' birthday and a little relaxation before Christopher's surgery.

We were able to rent this beach wheelchair while we were there, it was great. The water was warm enough to roll him in waist deep. He loved it.

Davis' Birthday dinner at the Salty Dog Cafe, Hilton Head. The boys all got t-shirts, a great time. Christopher was giving all the waitresses hugs, the boy's smile can still pull them in. He is so funny.

Sixteen, OMG! How did that happen?

We arrived in Philadelphia Sunday afternoon and were scheduled to meet with Dr. Baldwin Monday morning. During our visit with Dr. Baldwin it was determined Christopher will need surgery on both feet and his right leg. He and I will be staying here in Philadelphia until the first of next month. Dr. Baldwin wants to be able to change his casts himself and assess the progress.
