Today a very busy day, Debbie and I met with the company regarding the lift
for the interior of the house, to get him upstairs, Monique was able to come up
with a solution for inside and when she asked about the front steps she said she
may have a solution for outside, instead of a ramp. She has a lift they are
taking ok utilities of a hospital in Lawrenceville that will fit into the
garage. Awesome.
Once we got to the hospital we started our family training with the
physical therapists we worked on transferring Christopher to and from the bed,
wheelchair and mat tables to work with him in stretching his lower body and
trunk. Next came therapy working his upper body and arms and his trunk as well.
His abdominal muscles are contracting pulling him forward, just imagine have a
cramp in your muscle that just won't go away that is what he is experiencing
with his arms, shoulders and abdomen right now, it is constant.
Dr Sands came by to assess Christopher, he gave us the ok to remove the JP
drain and he is going to speak with Dr Carney regarding Christopher's follow up
regarding his bladder surgrey.
Speech therapy went well, he answered several questions appropriately,
Will Melson was there to witness Christopher.
All in all it has been a good day. He continues to be having issues with
his stomach being upset. We are still trying to workout what is bothering him.
