Saturday Oct. 6th

Still fighting the bug. Christopher is very restless, we just don’t know what exactly is bothering him and he can’t tell us. He did not sleep well last night, evidently he awoke just after midnight and then, didn’t sleep much at all after that.

When Debbie came in this morning he was awake and obviously had been sick again, the staff was changing him, getting him ready for the day. His only therapy session today was speech. He was not feeling it, as he would say.

So we spent much of the day in the room, we tried to watch some of the Auburn game, but it wasn’t worth the effort. Debbie went left we are trying to get a few things for Davis, his birthday is Monday the 8^th. So, we have been trying to shop for someone who has more than any 15 year old needs.

We were hoping Christopher would sleep a little today, but no such luck. He has been wide-awake all day. His nurse plans to give him something tonight to help him sleep.

This is where we struggle the most, we can’t seem to do anything to help him rest and this is what he needs most. Lord you have answered so many prayers, Christopher is here with us, fighting hard to win this battle, give him rest, comfort and strength to continue on.
