Christopher went in for surgery very early this morning. Debbie and I arrived at 6am to help get him ready for the transfer over to Piedmont Hospital where he will have his surgery. We started over at about 6:30 and were met by Debbie Slough once we arrived in preop. Debbie is the Clinical Manager for the preop and recovery. She and I worked together for many years and are good friends. We spoke with anesthesia, the OR nurse and Dr Frankle who will be performing the surgery. Should only take about an hour, so we are watching as they roll him back to the OR.
