We have a very nice day, Denise Corcoran came by, she is helping us arrange home care to come into the house and help with Christopher. Right now that is the biggest challenge. It is just too much for one person on their own.
Christopher's therapy sessions will be three one hour sessions per week. We are in the process of getting some additional sessions lined up. We have got to keep him as active as possible. I really think this is what will push him, more than anything, towards recovery. He responses so well to the physical activity.
Vicki Anthes and Coach Scott Kelly came by this afternoon to present us with a check from the proceeds from the baseball tournament sponsored by the Lassiter High School Baseball Team and Booster Club. Unbelievable what was accomplished, so many people joined together to make this an overwhelming success. Debbie and I were blown away. We are still pushing hard to get Christopher ready to throw out the first pitch for next season. The Lord willing, he will be there throwing a strike.
God only knows what the plan may be. We only know, we must believe and be faithful in that belief. That one day, we will make it through this as a family, a family that has grown from the original four, to the many thousands who have joined us in our time of need.
Lord we praise you for knowing our strengths and the limits of what we can endure, for knowing our burden and providing the helping hands of others to lighten the load.
