Christopher has had a good day. Busy with his therapy, mostly just stretching and working with the computer program tracking his eye gaze.
The highlight of the day was the complete removal of his trach, so now everything is out. We were able to go to the garden unencumbered by the suction unit we have had to drag along with us everywhere we went for the past few months. We had a nice time working with Christopher.
Great news about the trach!

Saturday I competed in and completed the Florida Ironman which is a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike and a 26.2 mile run. My duaghter, Jaime Rubel, had given me a blue wristband which says "strength, hope, believe" and "pray CHRIS healing." Chris was my strength thoughout the race and afterwards I thought about the event being one of ordinary people doing something extraordinary. Chris is fighting an extraordinary fight but I believe he will prevail and I pray for him every day!
