Thursday Nov.8th

A lot going on at the moment, Christopher has been fitted with multiple splints and braces Debbie has been instructed on how these are placed. He continues to have issues with wearing the bivalves at night, they are causing pressure sores on his bony prominences, (ankles and wrist).

De and Brian Moehler, came in to visit this morning, Brian most recently pitched for the Houston Astros. He and his wife De have been following Christopher's progress through the blog, learning about Chritopher's accident through friends of friends of friends. It has been truly amazing, the network and how it has grown.

We have met so many wonderful people and they just keep coming, from all over. We thank you, it has been the strength we have garnered from all of you that has kept us strong.
Going home just opens a new chapter to this story, one we are all anxious to see unfold. Christopher continues to amaze us everyday with his strength and his ability to fight on, even when he isn't at his best.

  1. Cannot wait for the coming home update. I am sure Christopher will be so happy to see his home and all that is familiar. Thank you for the updates, we follow constantly and feel we are close even though we cannot visit in person. Debbie, every day you are in my thoughts and I am with you in spirit at all times. Love, Alicia

  2. Paying for you all today. Hope you get to enjoy the sunshine, some. Also, we are praying for all those transitional needs and that the splint issue has a speedy resolution.
