Wednesday Nov. 7th

A better day today. We continue to make preparations to come home this Friday. We have received Christopher’s wheelchair, this is the one that will come home with him. It appears very comfortable; he seems to sit more upright without having to be propped to one side or the other. We still do not know what all we are going to need when we get home. Our case manager is helping to arrange as much as possible. Once we get home, I am sure we will realize quickly there is still much to do.

I know we are going to need care for Christopher during the day. Debbie has been away from work since the accident. We will need care assistants and possibly nursing care. There are still many unanswered questions regarding what will and won’t be covered and by who.
