Today we have decided to take
Christopher shopping. He and Davis both enjoy going with Debbie and I, they
have always figured they can talk us into buying them something before the day
is over.
Even as much as we have a schedule
for feeding and meds, once we get finished with Christopher’s shower and
getting him dressed, half the day has gone by. We finally got everyone loaded
into the car and headed out. TJ Maxx is one of our favorite stores and that is
where we are headed. It is time to finalize some of our Christmas shopping.
While we were out we ran into Ms
Perez one of the baseball moms, she commented on how well Christopher looked.
He is having a good day, he is very alert and busy watching all of the people
in the store. Probably wondering what we are buying him. Davis is doing well;
he came out of the store with a couple of bags of goodies.
It is fun just getting out of the
house, I am sure Christopher is enjoying being out as well.
Lee and Brian Panosian are coming to
sit with Christopher this evening. We have a neighborhood Christmas party we
are attending across the street. It will be great to see everyone. So many of
them have been providing meals and volunteering to sit with Christopher during
the week. We are so blessed to be part of this community and in a neighborhood
that cares so much.
Lee and Brian have three children
Christopher’s age, they have all gone to school, played ball and been involved
in church with each other over the past twelve years. They also have another
daughter who is around Davis’ age, Cara. We are trying to talk her into
transferring to Lassiter next year. We are trying to pull more of the Smyrna
folks over this way.
We are so thankful to you all.
