Christopher came through the surgery without any issues. He had a small hole still in his trachea which had not closed. Dr Simon rotated a small muscle flap to close the hole and then closed the skin over. Christopher woke up in the rocovery room just like most teenage boys, a little on the active side. See picture below, he has a small bandage and a ice pack applied to the site.
