Sunday March 24th

We have had a very nice weekend, Christopher is doing well. He is eating everything in site. Believe me this is a site to see. He has started to use a fork to feed himself, he is a little out of practice but he is trying so hard to get the food in his mouth.

Friday and Saturday nights he slept in his own bed. I think he really enjoys waking up in his room with the dogs at the foot of the bed. Mom and dad bringing him breakfast in bed. I think he is getting too accustomed to this treatment.

Saturday morning after brushing Christopher's teeth I was taking him into the kitchen and he decided he wanted something from the pantry and put his feet down like Fred Flintstone's car brakes and then started pulling his wheelchair towards the pantry. Once I got the door open he could see the strawberry applesauce that he wanted. It took me a little while to understand that was what he wanted.

So we are now fighting to keep him out of the pantry and refrigerator, he can get pretty testy when he doesn't get what he wants. He gets that determined look on his face and doesn't give up.

I think he has eaten about three pounds of grapes this weekend.

Dinner Saturday night was fantastic, it will be a great place to go with a group of people. We will have to start making plans. Thank you Bobbie and Naomi I think Christopher was happily entertained.
