We saw Dr. Bryant Wilson, Dr. Wilson started the surgical attending program in the emergency department at Piedmont. This puts the surgeon in the ER ready for a consultation for surgery to speed up the process for patients needing immediate surgery, such as Christopher when we presented to the ER two weeks ago.
The incision site has healed well, the staples were removed by one of the nurses. Christopher has been released with no other follow-up necessary.
Davis has a lacrosse tournament in Baltimore this weekend so he and I will be traveling. It is usually the other way around, with Debbie gone. It looks like the rain we have been having all this week has traveled up the coast and we will be sitting in the rain for the majority of our weekend.
Debbie and Christopher have been receiving visitors all weekend, they are thrilled to have the company. thanks to all of you who for coming by.
At the moment Christopher has been fixating on his sunglasses, hats, his shoes and socks. along with the wheelchair and the cars. It seems anything associated with him being outside. It has gotten to the point first thing he is looking for in the morning his hat and sunglasses, shoes and wheelchair. If he sees any of these items he won't rest until he gets them.
