Friday July 13th 9:30 am

Debbie and Randy very much appreciate the continued outpouring of  prayers, support and  caring everyone continues to express during this difficult time.

For today, Friday, July 13th Debbie has asked if you can respect her privacy and will not be accepting any visitors today.

Christopher experienced a neurological crisis in the middle of the night. He has more swelling on the brain and his intracranial pressure rose but is back to a high normal range. His right pupil is not responding to light so it means there is pressure on his 3rd cranial nerve. The neurosurgeons transferred him to the Grady Marcus Stroke Neuroscience Center on 8B @ Grady so he can be monitored more closely and have more aggressive treatment. He will have his EEG (brain activity monitored continually). In addition, he will have a catheter inserted into a vein that will allow for cooling internally. He will be placed under heavy medication to allow him to rest and is being given medication high concentration of saline, (salt solution) to reduce the swelling. He had 2 CTs which show a lot of swelling but no more bleeding in his brain. Send lots of prayers this way. Thanks.
