Well, we all about fainted when we heard Debbie actually left
the Neuro ICU today (after 24 days straight) and went down to the lobby!!!
Christopher has had another good day which we are all
thankful for. The nursing staff once again sat him up with his feet on the
ground which he tolerated well. This is great for his circulation and for him to
regain his equilibrium and balance. It is almost time for serious PT! Of course
he is still being weaned off his pain medications slowly. He went down for a MRI
today and we are awaiting the results.
With this forward progress, Debbie and Randy are ready to see
some friends and family for short visits. You can visit with them in the Neuro
ICU waiting room only. We are still respecting Christopher’s privacy so no
visitors allowed yet for him. Also, no flowers or gifts allowed at this time.
Will report more later. Thanks again for all the continued support and
prayers.
Forward progress, indeed! I'm so happy to read these positive updates! I will continue to pray for more positive days for Christopher and the Heitzman's!
