Christopher has had a pretty quiet day. Not much going on, we have had him up in the wheelchair a couple of times today.
He continues to get restless after an hour or so but he is extending his time each day. Christopher remains in a comatose state, and must continue to push his level of activity in order for him to move forward in the rehab program here at Shepherd. Please pray for Christopher to reach the targets set to continue on in the program; if he cannot he will go home and we will have to have his rehab continue at home until he progresses to the level they need to bring him back. We need your prayer to strengthen him so he can continue to fight. We can't thank you enough for your support, it means the world to us. |
Thank you for your continual updates. Our family does not know the Heitzman family directly, but my oldest child goes to school with Davis. We wanted to let you know we are praying. Your family is continuously in our thoughts and prayers. We logon almost daily in hopes of more good news for your family. I believe there are many parents and families out here reading, hoping, and praying for Chris' full recovery. We are praying for you as parents, and Chris. We pray that God continues to give you the strength you need for each day, that your doctors are blessed with wisdom and love to make the right decisions, and that God fills your life with hope, love, and comfort in during this time. Sincerely, The McDowell Family
