Thursday October 24th

We are still working off the information that Christopher will have his casts changed on the 30th. Joanne the social worker assigned to Christopher informed me that insurance has approved him to stay here until the 28th, they will continue to assess him and apply for additional days. We are still unsure about changing flights awaiting additional info from Dr. Baldwin's office.

Christopher was amazing walking today, the therapist all continue to reinforce no with the hand signal, he is really starting to get it. The same team aided him in the walking frame. For those of you who haven't seen the videos on Facebook, I have posted them below.
 

 

He is really working hard. Anne, Kira and Rob were all working really hard as well. He is getting to be quite a load moving him around. you can see in the video it still takes alot of effort to keep in upright well he is trying to walk. He has a tendency to lean forward with his bottom staying back which makes it difficult to propel himself forward. He is so determined though, you can see it in his eyes.
