Our Journey To Recovery

Sunday Oct. 14th

We have had a very relaxing day, today. Not much going on so we went down to the garden for a little while. The 1st floor is closed for renovations this weekend, so they had closed the garden because the access was blocked. Well we weren't going to be deterred. So with a little determination, out and around along the sidewalk, to a gate out front we went. The sidewalk coming down from the main entrance is a little steep. I see why they didn't want anyone going outside on their own. It was a good ride. Anyway, we had the whole garden to ourselves, a beautiful morning.

Once we got back inside, we watched the Falcons, had a few visitors, it was a very pleasant day. Debbie didn't make it in, she was supposed to be resting, but of course there was the party aftermath, which had to be addressed. Davis had two lacrosse games, he wasn't feeling too great. He and the boys that stayed over didn't go to sleep until the wee hours of the morning. Youth doesn't come with too many smarts sometimes.

It has been a great weekend, Christopher is doing well, he seems more alert and seems to be over the GI bug from last week, much better. Thank you all for the prayers and continued support.
