Christopher has had a very good day. During therapy today, much of his time
was spent cutting and reapplying the cast to his left arm after it manipulating
and straightening. It is a process that takes a few days in each cast to get the
final results they are trying to achieve. The cast on his right lower leg and
foot was removed and will be used each night as a splint. Christopher has
tolerated this very well.
After all of this was completed, they took him to the gym where they got
him back on the treadmill. He walked for about 15min while being suspended in
the harness. He has really impressed several of the Rehab therapists. They didn't believe a PREP patient would be able to walk on the treadmill. This is an
exercise usually for the more advanced Rehab patients. So they were a little
surprised at his ability to manage the task without any difficulty.
So wonderful to know that Christopher had a good day and that he is impressing the therapists. Thank you for continuing to share the progress and the family news. The Californian friends of Debbie keep praying, thinking and hoping for continuing recovery.
