Wednesday Oct. 17th

They seem to have ramped up Christopher’s therapy sessions, today we have two sessions of speech therapy, one early morning and one this afternoon. At 10:30, Christopher has an hour of recreational therapy, and then straight into PT/OT. Megan and Stephanie are working him together, for an hour and a half. He should get a little break and then back to speech. With the new feeding schedule, poor Ansley his nurse will be chasing him all over the building trying to give him his nutrition.

I thought today was going to be my day to see him walk, well during his PT session they decided to work on him sitting on his own and rolling from side to side, these seems like such easy tasks, but with the stiffness throughout his body, it is very difficult to accomplish without assistance. It amazes me how hard he has to fight to get his body to react. You can see him trying so hard to do certain task.
