Saturday Nov. 10th

Well today is the day, we are packed and ready to go. We got Christopher up this morning and into the shower. It was a good start to the day.

 

It was definitely sad to leave all the new friends we have made since being at Shepherd, but it is time for us to move forward and right now that means being at home in familiar surroundings.

 

We had to make several trips up and down to the car to get everything packed. It is amazing how much we accumulated while being at the hospital.

 

The drive home was very uneventful, which is good. Christopher managed to look around several times as the cars, trucks and motorcycles zoomed by on I75. We got home to several Welcome Home signs in the front yard and some posted on our front door, thank you all for making Christopher's homecoming special.

 

We look forward to visitors, right now Christopher is sitting in his favorite spot on the couch watching football. Getting ready to cheer Auburn on against Georgia.
