We are still in the process of lining up home healthcare for Christopher.
It looks like we will be allotted 4 hours per day, 4 days a week. I am back on
schedule to take off on Wednesdays, so Debbie will be able to go into her
office. I am sure we may need to adjust as her work needs are becoming
increasingly more demanding.
Christopher’s trach site is nearly healed completely. Once it is healed, we
hope to be able to bring in Tyler Seaman’s aunt; she is a physical therapist
whose specialty is in pediatric and young adult therapy, to do some sessions
with him. She has done extensive work in aquatic therapy. We have the aquatic
center close by, off of Gordy Pkwy, and hope to be able to get Christopher there
in the near future. This would be very beneficial stimulus for him.
It is amazing what you can find online, Debbie and I have both been
researching and with the help of so many of you with your suggestions, we are
finding quite a few things to assist us. I was able to find a stationary bike
that will sit on a table or the floor for Christopher to us to strengthen his
arms and legs. Hopefully it will be here in the next few days.
We appreciate the continued support and prayers.
