Our Journey To Recovery

Tuesday Dec. 25th

Christmas Day, we are all home together. We had late start this morning, everyone sleeping in. Surprisingly Davis was still asleep and had to be awakened. It was after midnight before everyone was in bed. We had a great night with the Panosisans.

Today will be very low key, open our presents, have dinner, watch some football and relax. We would like to say thank you to Danielle for the beautiful throw for Christopher, Patrick for the Auburn tee shirt and Johnny for the chocolates.

It has been a good day, as usual anytime I am cooking on the grill it is going to rain, no different today. At least it wasn't pouring down as I cooked.

Christopher's progress is slow but we feel it is still positive. He is gaining weight and looking much more like himself. We have to keep our faith strong that he will recovery fully, it is with your continued prayers and support we move forward day by day.

We have much to be thankful for, our thoughts and prayers are with the Aschenbach family and all of you during this holiday season.

Much love and thanks from the Heitzmans.
