The trip to Tennessee was pretty miserable, it was cold, wet and windy. We loaded up in the Suburban, the task of getting Christopher in the front seat was formidable by any stretch. But between Debbie Coleman and I we lifted him into the seat and headed up the road, Chattanooga bound.
We eventually had to drive through McDonalds, Fang sitting next to me was about to chew off one of my arms if he didn’t get something to eat. Debbie was reaching around the seat trying to feed him, it was pretty comical.
We finally reached the McCallie campus, we were only a few minutes late. The boys were down by one goal but soon tied the game and then took the lead, only to lose it again with McCallie scoring twice in the final minutes to take the game. So we willingly packed back into the car and headed home.
Much of the rest of the weekend was spent relaxing around the house watching the Braves and the NFL draft, much to Debbie’s chagrin.
This morning we received a call from Leo saying he was a new grandpa and that he would not be available. We send them our best wishes on the beautiful new baby boy.
