Getting back home at least for me was a blessing, although I didn't get to sleep in my own bed. Christopher was awake most of the night, so I stayed in his room with him.
He is still not eating much, you can see he wants to but he just can't keep it down. He has definitely lost several pounds through this ordeal, you can see it in his face. But he is pushing through, the smile prevails. He is such a strong kid.
We have had to give him something to help him sleep, his schedule is so messed up after being in the hospital, he was waking up every few hours, probably waiting for someone to take his vital signs or take blood. He is finally resting better and so are we.
Thursday night half the neighborhood was out the front of our house shooting fireworks. We were scheduled to have the annual Meat Fest today as a fundraiser for Christopher, but it has been rescheduled for Saturday, hopefully the rain will hold off.
Christopher is doing great, we sat out front with everyone until nearly midnight shooting fireworks, it was great. The rain held off long enough for us to have a beautiful night.
Friday the rain is back harder than ever, Christopher is itching to get outside. Looks like we may need some floaties.
