Monday October 21st

Wow what a start to the day, a little cooler this morning 47degrees but the sun is shining. Oh no a flat tire. I guess I needed some exercise. Monday morning traffic not near as bad as I thought it might be.

I had a good ride into the hospital. I may look at riding the train tomorrow, should be an experience. Several of the hospital staff commute via train from NJ.

Just one of the beautiful buildings on the drive in, it is amazing from all sides

Christopher was up and eating breakfast when I arrived, we met with all the therapist and doctors today. Once again everyone is wonderful, so impressed with the staff here. Christopher has shown everyone his appreciation by spread the southern charm. I don't think he has missed giving anyone a hug since we have been here. He has is getting a reputation.

Each of the staff are doing their due diligence assessing Christopher and working to develop goals for his short term stay. He is getting three and a half hours of therapy six days a week, which is exactly what he needs at this time to get him walking. He is dealing with the casts pretty well.

Writing letters home, how about those shoes.

Another early night for him, he was exhausted. After dinner he was nodding off in the chair so we put him to bed and he slept through most of the night only waking when they were checking vitals. He is doing great.
