Christopher tried out a smaller low profile chair today and he handled it
well. We went out into the garden early this morning when it was cool and he was
really alert. He enjoyed the filtered sun rays on his face coming through the
trees. He really likes to be moving checking out all around him.
Some things don't change, Coleman came to visit and saw how if Christopher does not like
or know the therapist he chooses not to participate. The poor Speech Therapist
this morning had no hope of getting anything out of him today.
So Coleman and I took Chris to the gym and put him on the table to stretch
which he really enjoyed then we went back to the garden. He was very peaceful
today, although he did give Coleman the death glare when he was taking
Christopher's shoes off and followed him intently around the room. Maybe he
thought he was going to take his shoes away.
I could see Christopher's gaze has moved to all
peripherals which is encouraging to see as it was only 2 weeks ago he could only
see on the right side and his eyes would not cross his midline, now you can't do
anything or enter or leave the room without him watching. It may seem little but
we hang on every small improvement to being closer to having our boy
back.
