Thursday Oct. 11th

Christopher is still very sedate today, it has to be the change in medication. Debbie did get him up this morning and into the shower, to try and get him stimulated and alert. Hopefully ready for the therapy sessions to come. It worked for a short period of time, Sheryl the speech therapist, was able to get him to cooperate for the beginning of their session, but not much else after that.

The splint, he wears at night, on his right foot and ankle has created a small pressure area and will need to be changed. He has been rotating the foot inward, probably compensating for the pain from his knee. The plan is to recast the ankle and cast his left arm and wrist, tomorrow. Please pray for him this will be painful.

He has rested most of the afternoon and much of the evening. He did wake and we watched the Big Bang Theory and some of the Yankees playoff game. Debbie believes he may have pinkeye, his eyes are very red. They have been administering drops daily, because he hasn’t been able to close them all the way while he is sleeping, which makes them dry out and get irritated.
