Christopher seems to be taking the day off. He has not been too engaged in
any activities at all. He did finally sleep well last night, but continues to
appear sleepy today. The therapy team did not push him much as he just hasn't much of a participant. Debbie made it back to the hospital today, she is still
not a hundred percent, but does feel a little better. Christopher rested most of
the evening, hopefully he will be more attentive tomorrow during his therapy
sessions.
We want to thank you all for the continued prayers, it is what keeps us
going. We have been truly blessed by the outpouring of love and concern for
Christopher and our family. God sees our needs and has brought you to our aid.
I know many many many of you are praying regularly for Chris and for his family. If any of that read this blog are interested, I am having the Prayer Group this upcoming Saturday, Oct 13 at 11am. I have missed the last two weeks - what a crazy season! - but I look forward to getting together with anyone that would like to join me. A light brunch will be served, too. Please email to let me know if you are coming and to get my address. bhasty1176@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteChris continues to improve and amaze us all, but I believe in a God that restores completely. Although I am uplifted at each improvement, I will continue praying until I see his healing accomplished. I love how the community has fell in love with the Heitzman family and take their pain and hurt upon themselves, binding together in love and prayers daily to uplift and carry them through this tough time. God shows love through his people!
Praying that Christopher continues to progress in his recovery and praying the Doctors find what is making him feel bad. Happy belated birthday to Davis, can't believe he is 15, hope your back is better Debbie, sending hugs and prayers to all of you.
