Christopher is still just not feeling very well. He has been very slow to respond to stimulation. He doesn’t seem to want to do much of anything. We got him up for a shower, hoping it would get him perked up, to no avail. I guess we all feel that way some days.
Debbie has gotten several varieties of Jello, clear soups, pureed fruits and yogurts we are going to try with him over the next few days. He seems to be much more agreeable to swallowing something with a little flavor to it over the ice he has been getting for the past several months.
Our biggest concern is his ability to swallow without aspirating anything into his lungs. So, we continue to monitor this as we go. It is fun to see his expression change as he gets a taste of the different flavors.
