The group at the DDD Foundation are wonderful, they do such a great job keeping the patients calm and at ease. Christopher came out with clean teeth and a sparkling bright smile. It was a little hard to see because he was still zonked from the anesthesia.
We got home around ten thirty, Leo was waiting for us, sitting at the front door as we arrived. The stretching session didn't last long Christopher was still feeling the affects of the anesthesia and ended up sleeping for nearly two hours.

Crashed waiting for the anesthesia to wear off. I was looking for a place to lay down myself. |
We were soon up and out the door again, Christopher had an appointment with Dr. Ellis. He worked Christopher on extending his legs kicking in and out concentrating on following the commands as they were given. He continues to be motivated to move, just at times can't put the correct actions together to complete the task.
He is much more mobile with his left arm since the Botox injections. He is moving it and extending the arm out much more than before. This is very exciting to see. We are able to take the splints off while showering him and he is moving his left hand and fingers with his right trying to get them to move. It is funny to watch because he still makes the same sounds when he touches them that he makes when I try to move them.
It is great to see that he is trying to move them on his own. He is working so hard to get better.
